eSkilled has unveiled RTO Analytics & AI Reporting, a new feature integrated into its student and learning management platform, tailored for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia. This innovative capability is engineered to provide RTO staff with expedited access to critical operational data, spanning enrolments, learner progress, compliance, finance, attendance, and overall organisational performance. By leveraging this system, the company aims to lessen the dependency on traditional spreadsheets, manual data exports, and specialized reporting expertise.
The reporting framework encompasses 29 reportable entities and over 650 fields of data, covering a wide array of information pertaining to students, enrolments, trainers, finance, attendance, quality management, risk management, continuous improvement, and AVETMISS data. Users can effortlessly generate reports through an intuitive point-and-click interface or employ natural-language prompts to articulate their data needs. The AI then identifies the pertinent data, applies necessary filters, crafts visualizations, and organizes the report accordingly.
Examples of inquiries that users can pose include identifying trainers with credentials nearing expiration, detecting unpaid invoices outstanding for more than 30 days, or comparing withdrawal rates across different qualifications. According to eSkilled CEO Scott Rogers, this feature is designed to democratize access to operational information for RTO employees, eliminating the need for advanced reporting or database expertise.
The platform also introduces AI Chat with Your Data, enabling staff to interact with operational data using natural language. This tool generates responses from live data within the organisation’s student management system, facilitating examinations in areas such as attendance, completion rates, financial performance, compliance activities, and quality management. Role-specific dashboards and reporting tools are available for diverse roles within the organisation, including executives, RTO managers, training coordinators, compliance teams, finance staff, trainers, and administrators. Additional features include KPI dashboards, scheduled reports, AVETMISS data-quality monitoring, trainer credential tracking, and comprehensive organisation-wide reporting.
eSkilled ensures that the analytics and AI features adhere to existing user permissions, restricting access to information based on each staff member’s role. AI queries utilize sanitized, permission-controlled data, and audit logging meticulously records all reporting and AI activities. These measures are implemented to uphold organisational governance and meet regulatory requirements. RTO Analytics & AI Reporting is slated for release in eSkilled SMS & LMS in August 2026.
