Wildfire smoke isn’t just a problem outside – it can enter your home or office and harm the air you breathe. Carrier wants to help. The company’s new program makes it easier for people to improve indoor air quality and stay safe.
Carrier recommends using HVAC systems with good filters, sealing windows and doors, and adding portable air purifiers with HEPA filters. “Smoke doesn’t belong indoors,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President of Residential Solutions. “Our products help protect the air families rely on.”
As part of its efforts, Carrier recently donated $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to Los Angeles schools and frontline heroes.
